About Us

Our Story

Andes Peru Voyages began in the ancient capital of the Inca empire, Cusco, where two university students first met in 2000 while studying tourism at the public university. After 25 years of accumulating diverse experiences across all areas of Peru's tourism industry, we decided to establish a travel agency with the strategic collaboration of our third partner from France.

As Peruvians and especially as Cusqueños, we have known our cultural heritage since childhood, transforming this intimate knowledge into professional expertise. Throughout our years in the field, we learned the most authentic ways to showcase our city and country to travelers. Over 25 years in tourism, we have established a network of contacts and local suppliers who share our vision and possess the experience to provide exclusive services to our guests. At Andes Peru Voyages, we feel proud and joyful about our culture, and we want to share the best ways to discover our country.

We understand that each trip represents a dream, a goal, and the dedicated effort each traveler has invested to achieve it. This is why we pay meticulous attention to the organization and details of every journey.

Our highly trained staff provides expert guidance in organizing your adventure, allowing you to discover and appreciate our country at your own pace, guided by our specialists with over 25 years of experience in Peru's tourism industry.

Why Choose Us

1. A BOUTIQUE FAMILY EXPERIENCE

As a French beekeeper who's called Peru home for 8 years and two Peruvians with over 20 years of guiding experience, we offer something uniquely personal. Our small agency operates with the warmth and attention of family, providing experiences impossible to discover through online searches.

2. TRULY PERSONALIZED ADVENTURES

We don't use templates. Each exploration begins as a blank canvas, crafted through genuine conversation about your interests and dreams. Whether you're drawn to ancient archaeology, beekeeping in the Valley, or family-friendly activities, we create experiences uniquely yours.

3. INSIDER ACCESS & EXPERT GUIDANCE

Our deep local connections open doors typically closed to visitors—private archaeological sites, meals with local families, and artisan workshops. With our founder Isaac's historical expertise and Ervin’s extensive network built over two decades, we reveal Peru's hidden treasures while avoiding crowds.

4. SEAMLESS CARE FROM START TO FINISH

From your first inquiry to your return home, we handle every detail—accommodations, transportation, meals, guides, and transfers. Our responsive communication and personal approach mean questions receive answers within 24 hours, and you'll always have support during your adventure.

5. SPECIALIZED NATURE CONNECTIONS

Our signature experiences include beekeeping in the Valley, expert-led hikes on both famous and hidden trails, and genuine encounters with Peru's remarkable biodiversity. These distinctive outdoor adventures connect you with Peru's natural heritage in meaningful ways.

6. COMMUNITY & ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

We believe in benefiting "with" communities rather than "from" them. Our operations support local families, artisans, and ecosystems, practicing low-impact tourism that respects Peru's cultural traditions and natural environments while creating authentic connections for our guests.

Isaac Choque

I am an Andean and Amazonian man, born in the city of Cusco in Peru. In my family we have always traveled and met people from all over the world, my spirit of adventure and my interest to know ancient cultures helped me to study the profession of tourism at the University of Cusco, so I became interested in foreign languages, especially the French language. I have worked as a nature guide, as a mountain and adventure guide, as an interpreter of the heritage of ancient Peru, I know and have friends in South American countries such as: Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia and France. Now after more than 20 years of experience, I know deeply about the Andes and we know the keys that open the heart of its people and its sacred places, I have a wonderful wife with two children born in France. For all of the above, it is evident that we are highly qualified to organize and carry out an unforgettable and authentic trip, tailored to every adventurous spirit!

Olga Girault

Travelling all my life around the world since birth, I set my sails in the land of Peru 8 years ago. From a business owner in the coffee industry in Papua New Guinea to beekeeper in the pristine andean mountains in Cuzco, Peru, it is there I landed and was initiated to the world of the bees and started my family with my partner Isaac. There is something truly magical in these mountains, so close to the sky that one cannot help but to leave, for just a moment the bubble you are accustomed to, and feel with wonder the ancient civilizations that lived here and have left such a profound imprint on the stones, the land, the people, the stories and songs passed on generations to generation. I have lived on these lands and worked side by side with exceptional people that love their land beyond words and have an unique relationship with the abundant giving nature of "Pachamama". And so it is with you, fellow traveller, that I would love to share it!

Ervin Masias R.

I was born and raised in the city of Cusco. As a child, I remember enjoying accompanying my grandmother on business trips to different towns. It was during those journeys that I learned about the value of my culture, about the Apus and Pachamama, and about the deep affection that people feel throughout the Andes. When I finished high school, I decided to study tourism at Cusco's public university, where I consolidated my professional training and began traveling to discover different tourist attractions—places I already knew from childhood, but now explored for academic purposes. Even as a university student, I started my career as a tour guide, eventually venturing into travel agency operations where I quickly learned various functions until reaching management level. For 20 years, I worked both as a guide and travel agent. My experience in both fields provided me with a clearer vision for managing and organizing trips. Now I can design customized journeys for travelers, supported by my knowledge as a guide of different tourist attractions and my understanding of the logistics required to organize each adventure.
